The original identity of YMP simply wasn't relevant to the direction of their brand and needed to be brought up-to-date for the agency. Your Mission Possible, Inc. needed a brand revival.
Through some excellent brand discovery sessions with the founder, we came to a few guidelines to work on developing the new logo. The personality and overall mission of the company were tied to the imagery of the bee, hard-working, industrious, and working collaboratively with partners towards a common goal. He liked the colors of the existing logo but agreed that they could be simplified and balanced to reach a more professional and corporate appearance.
Keeping the hexagonal icon was key and combining it with tiered levels of the brand colors within it completed the look that the founder was incredibly happy with.
